Privacy Policy

Last updated 2 September 2026

I am John Beaunissant. I run Beaunoir Fitness on my own, out of Riverview, Florida. This page says exactly what I collect, why I have it, who else ever sees it, and how to get it back or have it deleted.

It is written plainly on purpose. If anything here is unclear, ask me and I will explain it rather than point you at a clause.

The short version
I collect what I need to train you safely and bill you correctly. There are no advertising trackers on this site, no analytics, and no cookies. I do not sell anything to anybody, ever.

What I collect, and when

When you enquire

The enquiry form asks for your name, email and phone number, what you are training for, your experience, any injuries, when you are usually free, and anything else you want to tell me. If you arrived through a link a current client shared, I also record which client that was, so I know who to thank.

When you book a session

Your name, email, phone number, what you booked, when, and where we are meeting — including an address if you have asked me to come to you.

Before your first session — the health screening and waiver

This is the most sensitive thing I hold, and it is the reason this page exists. It includes your date of birth, an emergency contact, your injuries and physical limitations, and your answers about heart conditions, chest pain, pregnancy and current medication. It also records your typed signature, the date you signed, and what you agreed to.

I ask for this because training someone without knowing it is unsafe. It is used for that and nothing else. It is never used for marketing, never shared with anyone except in the emergency described below, and it is not sold or passed to any third party under any circumstances.

Media consent

The waiver asks separately whether I may use photos or video of you. That is a genuine choice and saying no changes nothing about your training. If you say yes and later change your mind, tell me and I will stop using them.

While you train with me

Progress photos

Only if you choose to add them, and only from your own page. They are resized on your phone before they are sent, stored privately, and are never public and never indexed by search engines. Two people can open them: you, and me. Nobody else, ever — not another client, not anyone with a guessed link.

You can delete any of them yourself, at any time, without asking me — there is a delete button under each one, and it removes the image itself, not just the listing. If you would rather not take them at all, do not; nothing else in your training depends on it.

Reviews

If you leave a review, I record what you wrote and whether you gave permission to publish it, and to use your name or a photo alongside it. I only publish what you ticked. If you want it taken down later, say so and it comes down.

What I never have

Your card details. Payments go through Stripe or Square and are handled entirely on their systems. Your card number never touches this site and I never see it. All I get back is that a payment succeeded, for how much.

Your location. The site never asks your device where you are. An address only exists if you typed one in so I know where to meet you.

Anything from your camera you did not send. The photo page only ever receives the one picture you pick.

No tracking, and no cookies

This site loads no third-party scripts. There is no Google Analytics, no Meta pixel, no advertising tag, no session recording, and no cookie banner because there are no cookies to consent to.

Your browser does keep a few small things on your own device — a half-finished check-in so a dropped signal does not lose your answers, and which notification sound you picked. That stays on your phone. It is not sent to me and I cannot read it.

Who else touches your information

Only the companies that make the site work. Each one sees only the part it needs, and none of them are given anything for their own use.

NetlifyHosts the site and stores the records described above. They hold the data; only I can read it.
Brevo (or Resend) Sends the emails — your booking confirmation, your reminder the night before. They see your email address and what the message says.
Stripe and SquareTake payments. They hold your card details under their own privacy policies. I do not.

Nobody else. I do not use advertising networks, data brokers, lead resellers or AI training services, and I never will.

The one time I would share it without asking

If you were injured or unwell during a session and could not speak for yourself, I would give paramedics or a hospital the health information on your waiver, and I would call your emergency contact. That is the entire reason I ask for both. I would also comply with a valid court order, which I have never received.

How long I keep it

Getting your data, or having it deleted

You do not have to make a formal request. Text or email me and ask.

Children

I do not train under-18s without a parent or guardian present to sign, and this site is not aimed at children. If you believe a child has sent me information through it, tell me and I will remove it.

Keeping it safe

Everything is served over an encrypted connection. Your private progress and check-in links contain a code unique to you; treat them like a password, and tell me if you think one has gone astray so I can issue a new one. The coach side of the app is behind a password only I hold.

No system is perfect. If something ever went wrong that affected your information, I would tell you directly — not bury it.

Changes to this page

If I change how any of this works, I will change this page and update the date at the top. If the change is significant, I will tell my clients directly rather than expect anyone to re-read it.

Asking me about any of this
