Online Coaching

For people whose calendar is the problem, not their motivation. Sessions are 45 minutes, on the days you actually have — not a fixed week you have to rearrange your life around. Your lifts checked on video, a program built for the equipment you actually have, and a weekly check-in I read and answer myself. Anywhere in the world.

I was an athlete long before I was a coach — soccer, basketball, boxing, martial arts. Four years ago a car hit me on the driver’s side and left me with bulging discs, which is how I learned to program around a body that has something wrong with it. I coach in person in Florida and online everywhere else, and I write every program myself.

Twenty minutes, phone or video. No cost, no card. If I am not the right person for what you want, I will say so and point you somewhere better.

Why not just an app?

Because an app cannot see you. It does not watch the third rep of your second set and tell you your hip is shooting up first. It does not know your Tuesday got eaten by a deadline, and it will not rewrite the week when it does. It gives everybody the same program and calls it personal.

That is the whole difference. I write it, I watch it, and I change it when your life changes. If what you want is a list of exercises, you do not need me and I will tell you that on the call.

A clip on every movementTap Watch and there I am doing it, from the side. They save to your phone, so they play in a gym with no signal.
Send me a set, I tell you what to changeFilm it, paste the link, and my answer comes back on the same page.
A check-in every weekFive taps. I read every one, and the next block is built on it.

What clients say

★★★★★
Before

“I was inactive due to some life changes. Gained weight, lost flexibility and endurance. I had some pain from jumper’s knee.”

After

“More endurance and flexibility. I’m able to run longer distance than I could before. Knees feel a lot better.”

AV · Personal training, in person · 1–3 months
★★★★★
After

“Having a set routine to see results better.”

Client, Riverview · Personal training, in person · 3–6 months

Both of those are people I train in person — which is everyone who has finished a block with me so far. Online is the same coaching at a distance, and the first person to finish one online will be quoted here too.

You are not locked in

Start month to month. It stops the moment you tell me — I cancel it at Stripe myself, no form and no notice period. The three- and six-month rates are there if you already know you want them, and those are paid up front, so canceling one stops it renewing at the end rather than refunding it.

If you would rather find out what I am like before any of that, the call costs nothing and takes no card.

Payments are handled by Stripe. Everyone completes the health screening and waiver before we start.

Who it is for

People whose calendar is the problem, not their motivation. You know you should train. You do not have an hour to work out what to do when you get there, and you are not going to read a spreadsheet at ten at night. You want somebody to have already decided, so you turn up, do the work, and get on with your day.

Also: people who travel for work and need the plan to survive a hotel gym. People who already have a gym they like and want the programming without me standing next to them. People outside Riverview and Tampa entirely. Beginners are welcome — most of the people I start with have never touched a barbell.

What you get every week
  • A program built for youYour goals, your schedule, and the equipment you actually have — not a template with your name at the top. It lives on your own page, set by set, and you tap in what you lifted as you go.
  • Form checks on videoFilm a set from the side, put it anywhere you can share from — unlisted YouTube, Google Drive, Dropbox — and paste the link on your page. I watch it and tell you exactly what to change.
  • A weekly check-in that changes the planFive taps: weight, energy, sleep, soreness, what went well and what did not. I read every one, and the next block is built on it.
  • Nutrition guidancePractical, built around how you actually eat. No meal plan you will drop by Thursday, nothing banned, nothing to buy.
  • Me, in your pocketMessage me from your page between sessions, and the group chat with everyone else I train.
How it works
  1. The free 20-minute call. On the phone or over video. You tell me what you are after and what has in the way; I tell you honestly whether this is the right thing for you.
  2. One health screening. Five minutes, once. Standard pre-exercise questions and your waiver in the same place, so I know what your body will tolerate before I load it.
  3. Your program, within 48 hours. On your own page, ready to train.
  4. You train and log it. Sets, weights, and anything you want me to know.
  5. Check in weekly, and the plan moves. Programs get rebuilt as you progress rather than recycled.
What you need

A phone, somewhere to train, and whatever equipment you already have — a full gym, a garage, or a set of bands. Tell me what you have on the call and the program is built around it.
